Deb Cervantez is the Vice President of Human Resources at CCI, where she leads people-focused strategies that support the company’s growth, culture, and day-to-day operations. She oversees all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, compensation, and benefits. Deb partners closely with leaders across the organization to align people strategies with business goals, while fostering a culture grounded in integrity, transparency, and accountability. She is especially passionate about creating an environment where teammates feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work.
Deb began her HR career more than 20 years ago as a Personnel Clerk in the United States Army. After her honorable discharge, she built her career across a variety of HR roles in government, private, and nonprofit sectors. Her time working in social services shaped her people-first approach, giving her a deeper understanding of how personal challenges can impact the workplace and how the right support can help individuals succeed. She is known for building strong, connected teams and helping create workplace cultures where people genuinely want to be.
Deb holds a SHRM-CP certification and has been an active member of SHRM for many years. She previously served as President of the Lakes Area Human Resources Association and continues to stay involved in both local and national HR communities.
