As National Maintenance Supervisor, Tim oversees a wide variety of special projects, including large scale building systems replacement and rehabilitation, critical and non-critical repairs, and governmental REAC inspection preparation. He is also responsible for providing portfolio-wide support and training for CCI’s properties and staff as well as development and standardization of maintenance protocols.
With a 20-year career in the United States Air Force and Texas Air National Guard, safety is always the highest priority for Tim, but his time in the military also instilled in him a passion for mentoring others. One of his primary goals at CCI is to make sure his team has the opportunity to reach their full potential in both their professional and personal lives.
Tim has been involved with building and construction for most of his life in a wide variety of high-level facilities. He strives to stay on the cutting edge of industry advances and, with a special interest in affordable housing, has participated in a variety of initiatives such as serving as the Executive Director for a non-profit housing organization in Tyler, Texas, to improve affordable housing opportunities, maintain existing housing stock and provide a step-up for the homeless.
Tim graduated summa cum laude from Excelsior College with a Bachelor of Science degree and is working towards his Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has earned and maintains a number of certifications, including the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Facilities Management Professional (FMP) designation. He is a Certified Graduate Builder, Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist through the National Association of Homebuilders as well as a Certified Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical Inspector through the International Code Council.
