Trent Center East Tax Credit Rehab

In December 2014, CCI purchased a campus located in Trenton, New Jersey, comprised of two high rise apartments Trent East (228 units) and Trent West (246 units). After prepaying an original 202 loan and obtaining a new SPRAC award, CCI used LIHTC equity, an AHP Grant, State ERG tax credits and private financing, to move forward with 4% bond transaction including $7 million of hard cost construction renovation. This project provided numerous amenities to its elderly population in the form of a full-time service coordinator to help residents age in place as well as 22 assisted living units.
